Waterproof car

I didn’t put the roof on the car today, and apparently it rained heavily, because when I got down to the car, there was water everywhere. I put the roof on, and removed as much water from the seats as I could. Not much more I could do than to wait for it to dry up.

Two hours later I finished work, and went down to the car. Believe me, but it was almost all dry! Apparently they build cars thinking about morons like me.

  • Dry seats: Check.
  • Working electronics: Check.
  • Dry mats: Check.
  • Dry pack of cigarrettes(!): Check.
  • Small bird bath at the gear stick: Check.
  • Working lighter at the pack of cigarrettes: Nope. Wet and not working.

On my todo list:

  1. Get a waterproof lighter.
  2. Remove the roof permanently.
